Class Descriptions & Levels 

​​Dance With Me (Mom & Tot)

Ages 15 mo. to 2. Learning activities that emphasize movement exploration, motor development, social interaction, balance strength and coordination.

Dance Babies - (Pre-Dance)                              
Ages 2 to early 4  No previous training. Emphasis is on introducing the joy of dance by incorporating; stretch, creative movement, basic steps, props and routines. (Must be out of diapers/pull-ups)
  

Pre-Ballet/Tap/Jazz      
Ages 4-5.  An overall introduction to dance consisting of basic ballet, tap & Jazz steps and creative movement.   Dance Baby Dance recommended for ages 3 prior to Pre-Ballet/Tap/Jazz.



Beginner Ballet
Ages 6-10. Basic ballet technique with little or no prior training.



Intermediate Ballet 
Ages 9 and up. Ballet technique with 2-3 years prior training - teacher approval.



Advanced Ballet 
Ages 10 and up.  Intermediate - Advanced with emphasis on pointe technique and performance. Ballet technique 3-4 years prior intermediate training.

Two classes per week required - teacher approval.

Pro-Ballet 
Ages 14 and up.  Pre-professional Class. Four classes per week required for registered students. Five-six classes per week recommended.



Teen Ballet 1
Ages 10-13.  Basic technique with little or no prior training.



Teen Ballet 2
Ages 12 and up. Beginner/
Intermediate technique with 2-3 years prior training.



Adult Ballet
Age 18 and up. Beginner/Intermediate technique with little or no prior training.

Pre-Pointe

Teacher Approval - Beginner Pointe exercises at the barre working towards center floor. Must be enrolled in Ballet

 

Pointe - Teacher Approval - Ballet barre, center floor, travel sequences, and variations wearing pointe shoes.

Beginner Tap 
Ages 6 and up. Basic technique with little or no prior training.

Intermediate Tap 
Ages 9 and up.  Beginner/Intermediate with 2-3 years prior training. 



Advanced  Tap
Ages 12 ad up. Previous Intermediate Tap 4-5 years prior training.  Advanced class with emphasis on performance.  Tap intermediate technique required and teacher approval.

Tap for Musical Theater  Ages 16 and up. Beginner/Intermediate - Broadway style Tap technique.  Broadway routine and combinations.



Beginner Jazz 
Ages 6-10. Basic technique with little or no prior training.

Intermediate Jazz 
Ages 9 and up.  Beginner - Intermediate with 2-3 years prior training. 



Advanced  Jazz 
Ages 12 and up. Previous Intermediate Jazz experience, 4-5 years prior training. Advanced class with emphasis on performance.  Ballet or technique required and  teacher approval.

Beginner Hip Hop
Ages 6 and up. Basic Hip Hip, Pop Lock moves, routine, requires  little or no prior training.

Intermediate Hip Hop 
Ages 9 and up.  Beginner/Intermediate Hip Hip, Pop Lock moves, routines - requires 2-3 years prior dance training. 

Dance team 
Ages 6 and up. Basic technique with little or no prior training.  Steps, turns, tricks and routines for students interested in auditioning for school and competitive dance teams.

Hip Hopercise

Ages 16 and up.  A great new work out using the latest songs and hip hop moves to make you sweat!

Ballet Booty Barre

Ages 16 and up. A fun energetic workout using techniques of Ballet, Pilates and Yoga; designed to tone, define and chisel the whole body.

Rebecca’s 150/200 Work Out 

Ages 16 and up. Toning, conditioning and light weights exercises in repetition to increase dancer’s strength and cardio-fitness.  *Open to those in Physical Training with teacher approval.

 

Rebecca’s Dancer Body Work Out the 2-8 Program

 Ages 16 and up. Class is designed to develop long lean leg and arm muscles, flatten abs, tighten glutes, and strengthen posture utilizing cardio, full-body toning, stretching and light weights exercises.

7:00-7:50 Dance My Body Back! - Learn the best dancer’s workout to get rid of that post holiday winter sluggishness and tone back up!  Once you learn this easy to remember dance pattern you can put on your favorite songs at home anytime to work off the cabin fever blues.

7:55-8:35  Tap Intermediate for Musical Theater

Brush up on all your tap basics for auditions; flash, times steps, wings, turns, patterns, progression and more!

7:00-7:50  Get Off your Feet!  Floor Barre Conditioning 

Designed for dancers and non-dancers.

A great class to strengthen your chore, legs and back, while stretching and toning your all over muscles.  No pounding or jumping to achieve maximum results.

Rebecca Crimmins Dance Apparel

 

Pre-K Classes - Solid colored leotard with or without an attached skirt, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (no laces), Tan Capezio Velcro tap shoes.  Hair secured.

Note - no biketards. over sized tutu’s, crowns or big play jewelry.  Target shoes are not recommended as they are poor quality and tend to fall apart.

 

Ballet 6-9 - Solid colored leotard with or without an attached skirt, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (no laces). Hair in a bun.

 

Ballet 10+ - Solid colored or black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet slippers (no laces). Hair in a bun.

Dancers may wear warm ups for Plie’ and stretch only, and ballet wrap skirts.

*Note - no biketards, shorts, loose ponytails, bangs, or jazz shoes.

 

Tap 3-12 -  Tan Capiezio velcro tap shoes.  Hair secured.  Leotard & tights or solid fitted tank shirt and leggings. 

 

Tap 12+ - Black Jazz Tap Oxford Tap shoes.  Hair secured.  Leotard & tights or solid fitted tank shirt and leggings.

 

Jazz 6+ - Caramel (tan) jazz shoes.  Hair secured.  Leotard & tights or solid fitted tank shirt and leggings. 

*Note - no baggie loose clothes, shorts, loose ponytails, bangs, or big sweatshirts.

 

Hip Hop 6+ - Clean and/or new tennis shoes, solid fitted tank shirt and leggings. Hair secured. *Note - no baggie loose clothes, shorts, loose ponytails, bangs, or big sweatshirts.


Adult Classes 18+ - Comfortable workout clothing (leotards are not mandatory).
